The Beekman Little League was established in 1951. The league served the community for local baseball and softball growing with the help of community volunteers. In 1993 the local little league became incorporated to be known as it is today as the Beekman Athletic Club. The Beekman Athletic Club is a not-for-profit organization operating under 503s charity.

The club is chartered through Babe Ruth Little League with the local travel teams playing in the Greater Hudson Valley Baseball League.
