The mission of the Beekman Athletic Club is to provide the opportunity for the children of our community to participate in the sports of baseball and softball. Our league will be powered by volunteers who put the best interests of our children first. We recognize the important role that baseball and softball play in the physical, emotional and social development of our children. RESPECT, INTEGRITY, PERSEVERANCE, and LOVE OF THE GAME are the hallmarks of our organization and we aim to reinforce these traits in all the children who take our fields!

The BAC is a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization and we strive to keep costs down. Below is a list of our currently open registrations.

Costs include a jersey, hat, and umpires if needed.

FAQ

• Dates and times are decided by the coaches for games and practices. You can typically expect to play 1-2 games per week in most weeks and they can be on a weeknight or weekend.(You can volunteer to coach and get to set your own schedule...)

• ​Depending on the amount of teams formed, kids can possibly swap teams if there is a conflict with the schedule.

• The Spring season is typically from April until the end of June but this is all weather dependent.

Our T-Ball program is open to players ages 4-5

Players learn hitting and fielding fundamentals in a supportive team environment.
Young athletes hit the ball from a batting tee which is height-adjusted for a level swing.

Our Rookie program is open to players ages 6-8

6 year olds will make use of coach pitching to help the player transition from T-Ball to player pitching.

7 & 8 year olds will transition from coach pitching to player pitching throughout the season.
*Older 8 year olds might be separated to player pitching

Our Coach Pitch Softball program is open to girls ages 6-7

Girls will transition from coach pitching to player pitching throughout the season. This group plays with 10" or 11" Softballs that are softer to develop the feel for the ball.

Our Cal Ripken Minor program is open to players ages 9-10

This division makes use player pitching and is played on a field with 60' bases and 46' pitching distance. Modified baseball rules apply to allow for a better baseball experience.

This division makes use player pitching and is played on a field with 70' bases and 50' pitching distance. Full baseball rules apply with some modifications for recreation baseball.

Our Junior Girls Softball program is open to girls ages 11-12

This division makes use player pitching and is played on a field with 60' bases and 40' pitching distance. This division is for older girls that will play at a higher level of play. This group plays with 12" Softballs.
